Enter exactly three initials to identify your save game. Enter N to start a new game or enter R to restore a saved game. Note: If you enter N to start new, everything will be in different places. SINGLE LETTER COMMANDS. You may enter just one letter for the following commands. N for NORTH E for EAST S for SOUTH W for WEST U for UP D for DOWN I to look at INVENTORY Q to QUIT L to LOOK around the area you are in MULTIPLE LETTER COMMANDS You may enter from 2 to 6 letters for a command. Some commands are: (note: all commands may not apply to Battune the Sailor) BREAK BURN CATCH CLIMB CLOSE COOK CUT DIP DOWN DRINK DROP EAST EAT FEED FIGHT FLY GET GIVE HELP INVENTORY JUMP KILL LIGHT LOAD LOOK NORTH OFFER OPEN PUT QUIT READ RESTORE RIDE RUN SAVE SHOOT SMOKE SOUTH START TAKE TALK TIE TURN UNLOCK UNTIE WAKE WAVE WEAR WEST UP Some commands require a second entry such as STAND, WITH, or USE. If you wish to open a door with a key, you may enter OPEN DOOR WITH KEY. If you just enter OPEN DOOR, you may be asked with what. You may just enter USE KEY or enter OPEN DOOR WITH KEY. ITEM NAMES. You may enter from 1 to 6 characters of an item name. Please note: many items have two names. You may enter either. Example: RED DOOR you may enter RED or DOOR. But be unique. If there is a RED DOOR and A RED DOG and you enter RED, I may not know which you mean. Also, if you have a choice between RADIO and RADISH, if you just enter RAD, again I may not know which you mean. ENTERING COMMANDS. When you see WHAT DO YOU WISH TO DO? on your screen, you may enter commands. Commands can be full sentences or just a verb and nouns. You may enter GIVE THE BONE TO THE RED DOG or GIVE BONE DOG GIVE BONE in which case I will assume you mean to the DOG. Battune the Sailor. You must find a way to reach the evil magician's island, find the treasure, and save the princess from the evil spell. If you need a specific item, and you do not have it, I will tell you what you need or I may just tell you that you need something to do that, but not what. In the fantasy world of Battune the Sailor, you may TALK not only to people but also to animals and seemingly inantimate objects. Enjoy your trip thru the world of Battune the Sailor.
