How do I prevent the alarm fairy and guards from showing up?

  1. You can't.
  2. If you cast a REZROV spell in the Outer Vault they will show up immediately.
  3. Otherwise they will show up after a predetermined number of spells cast.
  4. The number is three, unless you brought the treasure into the Outer Vault with you, in which case it is two. It can take three spells to determine the right cube, so it's best to leave the treasure behind, since you don't need it. No doubt it was placed there to trip up thieves.
