1. You might try to capture a grue.
2. Don't go on until you have been to the Laboratory.
3. Don't go on until you have figured out what the disks are.
4. A great way to catch a grue would be to leave a disk in a dark room and wait (somewhere else) for one to step on it.
5. Unfortunately, there are no longer any dark rooms on the ship.
6. Also, the grues don't have a rod.
