What happens when you die in ZORK I?

  1. You may appear in the forest with your belongings scattered (valuables below ground, nonvaluables above).
  2. You may wander as a spirit until you find a way to resurrect yourself.
  3. ZORK I is as fair as baseball. Three strikes and you're out.
  4. You become a spirit if you have visited a certain location before death.
